The
Landings voted Best Seniors Community in NSW!
Sakkara Living's flagship Seniors development,
The Landings at Turramurra, was the winner of the prestigious UDIA
NSW Landcom Awards for Excellence 2007, in the category 'Seniors Living'.
This confirms what we already know – that The Landings is just the
best place to be if you're over 55. The winners were announced on Friday
14th September 2007 at a glittering Gala dinner in Sydney, after a team of
UDIA judges visited The Landings for an inspection last April.
"We're thrilled to win the major prize," said Managing Director
Nick Reid. "The Landings has fulfilled its promise to residents and
the number of enthusiastic resident referrals is testament to the high
standard of satisfaction.
New retirement villages

Our latest Victorian site in Wollert, has been acquired but waiting for rezoning. Wollert is an outer northern suburb of Melbourne, located just north of Epping and is part of the City of Whittlesea Council, which is among the fastest growing municipalities in Victoria.
Wollert is one of the most culturally and economically diverse areas in the Melbourne metropolitan area. Future plans to extend the rail line will enhance community connectedness and health and wellbeing and maximise access to services and facilities.

Cooranbong, located 116kms north of Sydney via the F3 Newcastle Freeway, is another exciting site for a future seniors living community. Located at the base of the Watagan Mountains on the Western side of Lake Macquarie. The village will be located just a short 5 min drive to the major shopping precinct of Morisset which also has extensive public transport links with fantastic cafes, restaurants and both golf and bowls clubs. Plans for this 9 hectare site are underway and will be subject to D.A.
